The Intravitreal Expert Group (IVEG), a panel of top-tier international vitreoretinal surgeons, was founded in May 2012 with the aim of improving patient care by addressing areas of unmet need for guidance and education in the field of intravitreal intervention. The IVEG members’ biographies demonstrate the wealth of experience shared by this group of professionals aligned in their mission to promote and provide best practice recommendations to raise the standard of care.

Daniele Veritti is currently a research associate at the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Udine, Italy. He received his medical degree from the University of Udine, where he also completed an ophthalmology residency.
