Valentina Sarao is a retinal specialist at the Department of Ophthalmology of the University of Udine, Italy, and Healthcare Director of the European Institute of Ocular Microsurgery (IEMO), Udine, Italy.
Her main areas of interest are age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, imaging as well as cataract and vitreoretinal surgery.
