Valentina Sarao, MD, and Daniele Veritti, MD, are Assistant Professors at the Department of Ophthalmology of Udine University, Italy.  They were co-authors of a large systematic review and meta-analysis of studies evaluating the efficacy or ranibizumab, aflibercept and bevacizumab in patients with neovascular AMD.  A total of 282 studies, both RCT and observational, were included, totaling more than 100,000 eyes.
